Christopher Geppert (Christopher Cross) was born in San Antonio, Texas, May 3, 1951 American singer and songwriter. Her best known for composing "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" for the film Arthur starring Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli. The song won the Oscar in 1981. Cross played with an Austin group called Flash before signing a contract with Warner Bros, by which published a first album Christopher Cross in 1979 for which she won 5 Grammy Awards. Received in the same dress the 4 major awards are: Best Record, Best Song, Best Album and Best New Artist, record he shares with Norah Jones. In this album include the songs "Sailing", "Ride Like the Wind" and "Never Be the Same." Her second album Another Page of 1983 included the songs "Think of Laura" and "All Right."
